Location

Located on the right fork of Main Rd. (off Drakes Creek Road, off US 421) on the right.

This is the Ed Main Road. The cemetery is located near the end of the road on the right (south) side of the road. The new sign on the gate says Greer Cemetery. [The sign was missing on the visit on 4 October 2003.] See the Approach and View two pictures below.

Jeffrey L. Carrier visited the Main Cemetery on March 10, 1983. The listing that follows is either taken from the photographs taken by Basil L. McVey on September 29, 2001 and October 4, 2003 or the listing on pages 114 and 115 in Upon a Lonely Hill. I have used an alphabetical listing by last name, as did Carrier for the most part. They are marked with a (J) for Jeffrey Carrier if there is no picture available or the marker was missing. If the pictures are the only source and the information, then it will be listed with (M) for McVey.
