  [Jordan J Heck was a Sgt with the 13th TN Calvary. He was a blacksmith.(from History of 13th Tenn Calvary) The 1861 Johnson County voting list has him living in the 4th district (Bakers Gap/Shouns)
  He filed a claim with the Johnson County Claims Commission in May of 1868 to recover damages of $195 and $145 for losses during the Civil War.
  According to some historians in his family, he was shot and killed by union soldiers in 1868 when he was mistaken for an outlaw. Source James L. Cress]
