We Giles Graham and Wilborne Hardin are held & firmly bound unto the state of North Carolina in the sum of two hundred dollars witness our hand & seal this 24th day of May 18 1827.
The condition of the above obligation is such that where the above bounded Giles Graham hath been charged by Nancy Greer to be the father of her bastard child. Now if he shall well & truly indemnify the county of Ashe against all charges & expenses which the said county may incur on account of the birth of said bastard child, and state to abide by & perform all such orders & decrees by the court may hereafter make in said case then the above obligation to be void the same ? in full form ? ?.
