The information furnished here is not my documented proven information, but taken from notes sent to my family by Eugene Bunton.
Elijah Bunton, b. 1826 - d. 1905 married: Emily Dugger, b. 1830 in VA. - d. 1912, m. 11-15-1848.
Children:
- Mary Ann Bunton b. 1847 - d. 1928 married: Joel Trivette
- Jacob Dugger Bunton. b. 1849 - d. 1937 married: Saphronia Cable. (Margaret Brown Tittle line)
- William Bunton, b. 1852 drowned in Watauga River as a young man
- John Franklin "Jack" Bunton, b. 1854 married: Mary Vines, m. about 1873-74 (Eugene Bunton line)
- Benjiman Taylor Bunton, b. 1856 - d. 1932 married: Jane White. (Jane White is the daughter of Granville Washington "Wash" & Sabra Bunton White. They are my gg grandparents on the White side of my (family)
- James Bunton, b. 1858. Moved to Colorado in 1900
- Lemuel Bunton, died young
- Peter Bird Bunton, b. 1862. Moved to Washington State
- General Bunton, died young
- Abraham C. Bunton, b 1867. Moved to Oregon
- Ulysses Sampson "Doll" Bunton, b. 1868
- Nancy "Nan" Bunton, b. 1870
