F.W. Cress

I'm almost positive this is "Fielding W. or Washington F. Cress". He is listed with his parents, John W. Cress and Melvina Fenis? in 1880 in the 2nd District, Johnson Co., TN. He was 6 years old when that census was taken and in 1900 he's listed as Washington F. Cress, 26 years old, also listed in the 2nd District (Mountain City) with Melvina Cress as head of the household.

On the back of the photo is written "F.W. Cress". Its one of those miniature photos about 1 x 1 3/4.

This is one of the photographs given to me by Helen Graybeal Price of Johnson City, TN. These pictures were among the collection of Jerry and Nora Mae Elliott Wilson. Jerry Wilson was a son of Richard Luck Wilson and Elizabeth Fenner. Nora was a daughter of Julius A. and Martha Greer Elliott and the 2nd wife of Jeremiah (Jerry) Wilson of Mountain City.
