Hugh R. Butler

Hugh Richard Butler was born 8 April 1880 and died 13 January 1904. He is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain City, TN. In the 1900 census he was listed in the household of Julius C. Seehorn as a boarder and his occupation was "Mail Carrier". Julius Seehorn's occupation was "Mail Contractor". While the picture and memorial card (not scanned) give his name as Hugh or Hugh R. Butler, he is listed in the two census' in which he appears as "Richard H. Butler".

Hugh was a son of Richard Hughes Butler (1847-1929) and Nancy Anna Ingram (1849-1939). They, too, are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery. Richard Hughes Butler was a son of Roderick Random Butler and Emeline Jane Donnelly. Na

Jerry Wilson was a son of Richard Luck Wilson and Elizabeth Fenner. Nora was a daughter of Julius A. and Martha Greer Elliott and the 2nd wife of Jeremiah (Jerry) Wilson of Mountain City.
