Richard Donnelly (son of Robert and Eve Sievely Brown Donnelly) born 17 Aug 1790, born in Virginia married 1 Oct 1817, in Carter Co., TN, Rebecca Doran, born 1796, Carter Co., TN, (daughter of Alexander Doran and Unidentified (Doran)) died 11 Nov 1876. Richard died 26 Aug 1870. Both are buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

Their children were:

1. William A. Donnelly born Sep 1818, TN, married (1) 5 Oct 1843, in Vigo Co., IN, Maria Jane Smith, married (2) Helen Edmonds. William died abt 1899, Vigo Co., IN.

2. Caroline E. Donnelly born 20 Mar 1820, TN, married 19 Apr 1838, in Johnson Co., TN, Wesley L. Allen, born 12 Nov 1807, NC, died 25 Jan 1879. Caroline died 11 Dec 1902. Both are buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

3. Robert L. Donnelly born 10 Jan 1822, TN, Occupation Doctor, died 22 Sep 1888, buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

4. James Doran Donnelly born 23 Dec 1823 in Carter Co., TN married 24 Jan 1860, in Johnson Co., TN, Frances A. Orr, born 20 May 1841, VA, died 9 Sep 1900. James died 22 May 1903. Both are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain City. James was a Physician.

5. Emeline Jane Donnelly born 2 May 1825, TN, married 8 Jan 1847, in Johnson Co., TN, Roderick Random Butler, born 8 Apr 1827, VA, whose occupation was Lawyer, Congressman and Judge and died 18 Aug 1902. Emeline died 30 Jul 1899. Both are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain City, Johnson Co., TN. (See the Butler pictures)

6. Lucinda Donnelly died in childhood.

7. Margaret C. Donnelly was born 2 Dec 1828, TN, married 21 Feb 1848, in Johnson Co., TN, Thomas S. Smyth who was born 29 Jun 1827, VA, (son of James C. Smyth and Ann R. Orr). He was a Lawyer and died 4 Jul 1895. Both are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain City, Johnson Co., TN.

8. Jackson Wade Donnelly born 27 Jan 1830, TN, died 21 Mar 1881, buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

9. Richard Hamilton Donnelly was born 23 Sep 1830, Carter Co., TN, married 23 Dec 1852, in Johnson Co., TN, Eliza B. Moore who was born 7 Sep 1835, TN, (daughter of Greene Moore and Sarah Shoun). Eliza died 5 Jan 1911 and Richard died 28 Jun 1898, Both are buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

10. Rachel R. Donnelly was born 24 May 1832, Carter/Johnson Co., TN, married 28 Dec 1853, in Johnson Co., TN, James R. Morley who was born 17 Aug 1830, TN. He was a Doctor and died 19 Aug 1907 in Greene Co., TN. Rachel died 16 June 1913 in Greene Co. and both are buried in Rheatown, Greene Co., TN. (see the James Morley pictures).

11. Clifford F. Donnelly was born 12 Mar 1834, Johnson Co., TN, married 4 Aug 1859, in Johnson Co., TN, Susannah Wills, born 3 Aug 1829, TN, (daughter of Peter Wills and Susan (Susannah) (Wills). Susannah died 6 Jul 1902 and Clifford died 16 Jun 1911. Both are buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

12. Alfred T. Donnelly born 9 Mar 1838 in Johnson Co., TN, died 8 Jun 1914 and is buried in the Donnelly Cemetery (near Radio Station), Johnson Co., TN.

13. Harrison Carter Donnelly was born 14 May 1840 in Johnson Co., TN, married 12 Jun 1866, in Johnson Co., TN, Margaret A. Shoun, born 19 Dec 1848, TN, (daughter of David H. Shoun and Sarah H. Baber or Baker?) and who died 8 Feb 1905. Both are buried in the Donnelly Cemetery, Old Shouns Road, Johnson Co., TN.
